This ERDF Research and Development Grant Scheme provides grants to enterprises carrying out Industrial Research and Experiential Development activities leading to the development of new or significantly improved products, processes or services.

 

This scheme is part-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

 

Benefits

The ERDF Research and Development Grant Scheme will part-finance eligible costs related to industrial research projects and experimental development projects.  These costs include

· Personnel Costs;

· Equipment and Instruments;

· Subcontracting;

· Materials.

 

Projects should be completed within 36 months and must have a minimum value of € 60,000 in eligible costs. 

 

The applicable percentage of aid is based on the size of the applicant and the type of R&D project which is being planned. 

 

Application Process

This incentive is administered through a competitive call.   Applications will be evaluated and ranked according to preset criteria as defined in the respective Incentive Guideline.  Once ranked, the top ranking applicants will be offered support through this incentive.
